The shopping night of the year: the legendary Gmundner moonlight stroll invites you to shop until 22:00. Stroll through Gmunden, meet friends and enjoy a warm summer evening. All of this makes the popular moonlight stroll on Thursday, August 1 a wonderful experience.

In cooperation with the Gmundner inner-city stores, the municipality organizes the magical and well-known long shopping night at the lake. Dozens of shops, bars and studios are open until late in the evening — the entire city center is car-free until 22:00.

The retail stores show the trendiest outfits and collections from international designers. Subtle summer sound is in the air and regional gastronomy spoils with culinary delights. A continuous children's program on Town Hall Square, sand, games and fun, face painting and painting will inspire the little ones.

All Gmundner public transport is available free of charge until 11 pm as a complex shuttle service. These include city buses and the Traunseetram. The most relaxed are those who head for the parking spaces on the outskirts of the city and are chauffeured from there on a moonlight stroll.
